We tried to think like a cat when designing the condo-units and we tested each design feature with our own cats before opening the cattery.

Each floor-to-ceiling condo has 5 levels, the bottom one for storage of kitty’s belongings, another for a "private bath" (litter box) and cubby hole for hiding, and the top three for sleeping, lounging, eating, and watching - inside as well as outside activities.

To accommodate a cat's innate desire to stretch and scratch, a sisal rope climbing post is contained within each unit. Some units have connecting doors to allow members of the same family to visit each other

Daily playtime is provided for each cat or each cat-family. Members of different households are not allowed to intermingle. The "playroom" was designed to invite cats to play or lounge.

Perches and large window sills allow cats to sit and watch birds out the windows. We created a system of cat walks to allow active cats to climb or romp up high, catering to their natural instincts. They love peering down on the rest of us!

And, we do allow them to help us with our work by tiptoeing across the computer keyboard – as long as they don't step on "delete"!
